Fall Ball Registration - Closed
by posted 07/09/2010

Registration for RLL's Fall Ball program has closed.  Teams are currently being selected and participants should hear from their managers prior to September 1st.

The Fall Ball season will start after Labor Day and run through early November.  During each week of Fall Ball, there will usually be a weekday practice and a game on Saturday.  The practice and game schedule is not yet available.

Our Fall Ball program has seen tremendous growth in recent years, thanks largely to our dedicated volunteers who commit countless hours to offering this opportunity.  We look forward to another great fall season. If you have any questions about Fall Ball Juniors, Majors. or Minors, contact Lynnie Brugh at 420-6461 or .  For questions about Fall Ball Machine Pitch or Tee Ball, contact Bill Hutchins at 272-9044 or .

JB Cary Field Renovation
by posted 03/16/2010

Richmond Little League, in partnership with the Richmond School Board, recently undertook a renovation that provides a new baseball field on the John B. Cary Elementary School property, adjacent to Byrd Park. The field is now available for games and practices and will enable more Richmond youth to enjoy playing baseball with RLL. We expect that the new field will be used primarily in the machine pitch division, providing some of our youngest players with an excellent new venue, and giving us greater scheduling flexibility and practice availability for all levels.

The initial funding of this project was made possible by the generosity of many private donors, particularly The Roy R. Charles Charitable Trust and The Reynolds Foundation. We are also grateful to the professionals whose efforts made the project go smoothly and resulted in an outstanding facility, specifically: the general contractor (Alpine Construction Corporation), the project engineer (McCrone, Inc.), and the project manager (Crossroads Development, Inc.).
